Many conversations with clients start with “I’m not sure if you can help with this…”. And most often we can! Most pain and injuries involve soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia, blood and lymphatic vessels), these are the tissues affected during a massage session. So even with a condition such as arthritis, which can’t be cured, massage therapy often provides greater mobility, a decrease in swelling and in the severity and frequency of pain symptoms. What this means for our clients is the ability to maintain or return to a more active lifestyle, which can prevent the progression of such conditions.
We have helped many who suffer from back and neck pain, tension headaches, shoulder injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis/golfers elbow, hip/knee/foot pain. We are also trained to treat people with special considerations such as Multiple Sclerosis, cancer, heart disease, terminal illness, lymphedema, digestive disorders and pregnancy. If you are not sure if Massage Therapy is right for you, please contact us. We would be happy to discuss your condition and/or provide you with a consultation.
